I ordered a few cans from safecatch.com, and the delivery showed up in a reasonable amount of time, so I was feeling good about it at first. Nothing arrived smashed or looking like it had survived a natural disaster, which is always a win.
Most of my order was right, but one item ended up being a different flavor than the one I picked. It wasn’t the end of the world, obviously, but I had specifically been excited to try that flavor, so my tiny food plans were completely crushed for a moment.
Customer service did get back to me, though it took a little longer than I’d hoped. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I really wish they’d double-check the packing a bit more carefully so my seafood dreams don’t get derailed next time

I picked this up thinking it might be a solid high-protein option, and I guess it was okay overall, but I’m not totally convinced it’s worth the price. The taste was fine enough, nothing really wrong with it, but the amount of protein per can felt lower than I expected. For what I paid, I can just grab cheaper tuna at the grocery store with more protein. It’s not terrible, but since protein was the main reason I bought it, it didn’t really make sense for me. I probably wouldn’t buy it again.

Every time I go, the tuna I want is out of stock. Frustrating.

I really wanted to like these, but the cans are way too small for what they cost. They made it seem like the portions would be more filling, and that definitely wasn’t the case. The taste is fine, but there just isn’t enough food in each can. I went through them so much faster than I expected, which feels disappointing after what was promised.

I wasn’t too happy with the ingredients. They didn’t seem like great quality, which is always fun when that’s kind of the whole point.

I like that they’re at least making some moves toward sustainability, so I’ll give them credit for that. But the packaging still feels wasteful, which is frustrating. It’s decent overall, just not as impressive as I was hoping

It feels safe enough to me, at least going by the usual stuff I tend to check. I still went back and double-checked the labels because I kind of assume if something looks fine, there might still be some small detail hiding there. Everything seemed okay in the end...

Maybe it’s just me, but the shipping felt like it took forever. I kept waiting and checking for updates, and it still ended up arriving later than I expected.

I grabbed Safe Catch mostly because the wild-caught claim sounded good, but I was expecting a little more detail about where the fish actually came from. After checking the can and poking around the site for maybe 10 minutes, it still felt kind of vague to me.
The taste was fine, probably around a 6 or 7 out of 10, and I didn’t hate it or anything. But for roughly the price I paid, I wanted to feel more confident about the sourcing, and I still had some doubts after buying it

I’ve bought this tuna before and genuinely like it, which is why this order was disappointing. Several cans arrived dented, and one lid looked a little puffed, so I just didn’t feel right serving it to my kids. Food is one of those things where peace of mind matters as much as the product itself. Support was okay and handled it, but the whole experience left me feeling less confident than I expected.

I reached out a while ago, I want to say it was sometime last week, or maybe the week before, and I’m still waiting for someone to get back to me. Not a great experience so far

I just had this recently, so maybe it’s still fresh in my mind, but I really didn’t enjoy it. The texture was so odd, somehow dry and mushy at the same time, which made it hard to get through.

I was expecting something a lot more tender, but it reminded me more of overcooked canned fish. Even mixing it with mayo didn’t really help much, and that usually fixes things for me.

Maybe I happened to get a bad batch, but based on this last experience, I wouldn’t buy it again. For the price, I definitely expected better.

I picked up Safe Catch mainly because I was trying to find tuna that wasn’t loaded with sodium, it was kind of nice to have something that didn’t taste super salty right away. The cans were easy to grab for quick lunches, too, so like, for that part, it was convenient.

I’m giving it 3 stars because, well, the price feels a bit high for what you actually get. Also, a few cans were a little on the dry side to me, so it wasn’t bad or anything, just not really amazing enough that I’d be excited to buy it all the time.

Most of the fish seemed fresh enough, and I was looking forward to cooking it because it reminded me of the simple seafood dinners my family used to make. But one pack had a smell that was definitely off, and it kind of ruined the moment for me. Not terrible overall, just not as good as I hoped...

The tracking didn’t update for days, so I kept having to check it myself and wonder what was going on. it’s not even about waiting a little longer, it’s more that the whole process felt unreliable. By the time it finally arrived, I already felt like I wouldn’t order again. The product might be fine, but the delivery experience just didn’t give me much confidence...

My order arrived with the box half smashed and one corner already open, so that wasn’t a great start. The cans were basically loose inside with barely any padding, and a few of them ended up dented from rolling around.

Nothing was leaking, thankfully, but for food items I expected a lot more care. The whole thing felt cheap and rushed, like they’re trying to save a few cents on packaging and hoping customers just deal with it. I probably won’t order again unless they actually fix this

I was hoping I’d like this, but the taste was just way too fishy for me. When I brought it up, it kind of felt like my reaction was brushed off, but I couldn’t get past the flavor.

I actually liked the tuna, and the deliveries were mostly on time, so no big complaints there. But changing the subscription was more annoying than it needed to be?? I had to click around way more than I expected just to update things. Customer service did get back to me, which I appreciated. Overall, not bad, but it could definitely be easier.

Maybe I missed something, but the mercury testing info didn’t really make me feel that confident. I was hoping to see clearer proof, like actual batch results or something more specific. As it was, I just didn’t feel fully reassured
